The Thompson Park Railway is maintained and operated by a small army of volunteers who have a passion for railways, as well as teaching and learning new things.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help maintain and operate our railway. No prior experience is needed.

If you are interested in joining our band of volunteers, please come along any Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday between 10am and 4pm and we’ll be happy to show you around and explain what volunteering involves.
