Please note that the railway is run entirely by volunteers and has no connection with Burnley council. Unfortunately this means we cannot help with the following – parking payments, pool opening times, cafe opening times and boating lake opening times.

Our main running season for 2026 is now over.

Thank you to all who visited and supported us this year.

Our next scheduled running days are 5th and 6th december for the Santa Specials.

No need to book, just turn up on the day.

Please be aware if the park is busy there may be a delay waiting for trains depending on the number of volunteers present that day.

We look forward to seeing you all on this popular little railway!

Anyone thinking of joining us as a volunteer is still welcome to turn up between 10 am and 3 pm on a Wednesday or Sunday to have a look around and see what is involved.
