‘The 8 Footers’ aptly named by members due to their length, are the workhorses of the Thompson Park Railway’s passenger carrying stock.

Following the death of one of our long-serving members, Roy, each coach – alongside their dropped centre counterparts – was named after Roy’s grandchildren.
